What was your 1st impression of GGG & how has that feeling since changed?

“I was a little surprised when I first heard about it. It seemed really good…too good to be true. So, I investigated it online and heard some good reviews from people. I completed a survey, heard back from one of the GGG employees, had a great discussion on the phone, and got involved. It’s been really great, and I’ve really enjoyed the opportunities.”

What has surprised you the most since joining GGG?

“I think the thing that has surprised me the most since joining Good Gamer Group was all the opportunities that there have been. I’m consistently getting emails. If it’s not for surveys, then it’s for Playtests or game tests, or even for just little questionnaires that they have; it’s very cool. I’m very impressed with all that and the fact that they’re always on top of everything.”

What are things all new GGG members should know when they join?

“Everything is focused on video games, so it could be action, adventure, shooting, or horror games. To join, you would have to share some personal information, like your name. And they have some really cool and interesting projects going on.”

Joseph B, member since 2022

How would you describe the incentive process after completing a study?

“The incentive process is really simple and really straightforward as soon as you’re done with your playtest or focus group or whatnot. Honestly, a lot of times, by the time you get home or the next day, you’ll have an e-mail with a link to put in your information, and then it gives you your prepaid Visa card.”

What has surprised you the most since joining GGG?

“I think it’s the amount of opportunities I’ve received through e-mail. I’m very surprised that I can receive as many emails and text messages and any opportunity to play, test, or be part of a focus group. I guess another thing that surprises me a lot is how much they’re willing to pay for opinions on video game topics, conversations, and just playing video games in general.”

What are things all new GGG members should know when they join?

“One thing I would tell any new members is that you’re definitely going to feel comfortable, even if you feel like you’d be shy at first. That’s like one of the few places that you really are in your element, especially if you’re a gamer.”
